Fynn hadn't always been a data-punk, running illicit hypernet reconstructions for street thugs and barely making enough money to feed himself. There was a time when he'd been on top of the world; an elite computer-science student attending the best university in the country, with a silver spoon upbringing and a golden road ahead of him. All that changed after one, terrible mistake that left him expelled from school, with a black mark on his public-record. Disowned by his family and friends, stripped of his civil-rights, and on the edge of starvation, Fynn was reduced to digging through digital trash-heaps; desperately trying to find bits of valuable data that he could sell to keep himself going for another day. But when he recieves a mysterious text message from an unknown number, Fynn suddenly finds himself wrapped up in a corporate power struggle that could either send him back to the heights he once enjoyed, or lead him straight into an early grave. (Nightrun is a cyberpunk, science-fiction light-novel. No mature language. No explicit sexual content. Some violence. Some dark themes.)
