•Meeting on the bridge part 2•

Navaeh pov:

I wave with a smile at Jay then I saw a tint of red on his cheek as he smiled back. Audrey just glared at him. At this moment I just wanted to throw her off the bridge.

"This is a
momentous occasion, and one that I hope will
go down in history. Is that chocolate?" Ben
whispered shacking hands quickly with
Carlos, who had chocolate all over his lips. Audrey rolled her eyes and muttered some dumb things while I giggled a little at the boy in front of me and give him my handkerchief. "thanks" he whispered quickly. " Your welcome." I grinned at him.

Ben then shakes Evie's hand. "As the day our
two peoples began to heal." Ben said as I passed in front of Evie "You are a beautiful princess don't listen to Audrey she's an angry girl." I said jokingly. Evie chuckled a little and Audrey scoffed crossings her arms on her chest.
"Thank you" Evie said truthfully. I just smile at her.

"Or the day that you showed 4 peoples where the bathrooms are." Mal's voice rang in our ears.
Ben and I laughed a little, lightly. "A little bit over the top?" He questioned looking at me.
"A little more than a little bit." She and I answered at the same time. I looked at her with a smile but she just looked at me with a disgusted face. My smile immediately dropped like bitch what's your problem?!

"Well, so much for my first impression."
He said with a smile but when he saw my sad face he squeeze my hand and I looked up at him with a fake smile but he immediately knows that it's was a fake one. I saw worries in his eyes so I looked away no wanting to deal with this now.
"Hey! You're Maleficent's daughter, aren't
you? Yeah, you know what? I totally do not
blame you for your mother trying to kill my
parents and stuff." My eyes widen.

"Oh, my mom's Aurora. Sleeping-" Mal cut her off.
"Beauty! Yeah, I've heard the name. You
know, and I totally do not blame your
grandparents for inviting everyone in the
whole world but my mother to their stupid
christening." Mal answered back.
"Water under the bridge." Audrey said with a
faux grin.
"Totes!" Mal replied right back.
The two girls laughed with their fake smiles
and then sighed. A not so friendly
look in their eyes as they had a staring
contest.

"Okay! So, how about a tour? Yeah?" I said
clasping my hands together trying to ease the
tension.
"Auradon prep, originally built
over 3o0 years ago and converted into a high
school by my father when he became king." Ben explained as we were holding hands.

After a few seconds we reached the statue of king Beast. Ben clapped his hands twice and the once human looking statue turned into a beast. Carlos jumped and screamed in fright, right into Jay's arms.
"Carlos, It's okay. My father wanted his statue
to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible." Ben said, trying to
sooth the frightened boy. I thought the villains were scared of nothing but I guess I was wrong.

"Does he shed much?" Mal asked Ben trying to be funny I guess.
"Yeah, mom won't let him on the couch." He
answered with a serious look on his face and I giggled. That's when the others know that's was a joke. Ben looked at me lovingly and kisses my cheek. I chuckled a little but when I turned around to see the VKs, I saw Mal glaring at me. Seriously what's her problem?! It's because I'm black?!🤨

As we entered the building Mal asked another question . " So you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon? Like wands and things like that?" I'm not sure but I think this girl love magic and stuff like that.

"Yeah, it exists of course, but It's pretty much
retired. Most of us here are just ordinary
mortals." Ben answered placing is arm around my waist.
"Who happened to be kings and queens." Mal
said with a stiff smile.
"That's true! Our royal blood goes back
hundreds of years." Audrey said l nod at her.

Ben turned his head to the side, looking up
when he heard footsteps. Removing his arm
from me. "Doug. Doug,
come down." He said calling down the male
with the marching outfit on. "This is Doug." Ben introduced once he came down the stairs.
"He's going to help you with
your class schedules and show you the rest of
the dorms. I'll see you guys later, okay?" As he said that to no one in particular, I saw Mal trying to make eyes contact with Ben. He looked at her a few seconds and then he put his arm around my shoulder. I saw her glaring at me so I smiled at her because I'm not like her. I'm a good guy. And we exited the building.

"I don't like Mal."I said pouting. " Me too" responded Audrey.
"Why you don't like her nana ? I thought you liked the VKs you seemed happy to meet them." Ben asked me.
"Yeah, yeah I know it's just that Mal was a little rude to me."
"That's why you seemed down earlier?" He asked me worried.
" Yes...but don't worry it's okay. She's a VKs I don't expect her to be nice." I said to him as he kissed my cheek.
" I have to go but don't worry I will speak to her no one mess with my girl." He said winked at me.
"Bye my queen I love you" we kissed and I said "Bye my love." as he left.
