y/n's pov:
i ran into the car as i felt guilty, guilty because i left him alone, landon looked over to me, "hey what's wrong?" he asked me, "he told me he loved me" i stuttered

he chuckled as i felt my eyes get watery, "he doesn't love u y/n he wouldn't do that if he did" he said as i nodded, i looked out the window as we pulled up to his nice big house

he walked over to my door as he opened it, he took my hand as he opened the door. his house inside was really nice, it wasn't as big as joeys but i preferred landon's

"i like your house, it's beautiful" i told him as he smiled, "not as beautiful as you but it'll do" he said as i felt my cheeks heat up and my heart skip a beat

but all i was thinking about was joey, my smile faded as i looked up to landon, "landon joey fired me from the company" i said as his eyes widened, "y/n" he said as he held my hand

"i'm moving back to california, i have my house over here, it's beautiful, i miss it so much but i thought that coming to New York would be better" i told him

"but i my job still available and i have an amazing stable home, i was dumb to leave everything just to work for this stupid company" i told landon as he chuckled, "i'm leaving tomorrow" i said as he looked at me

"do you want to come with me?" i asked him as he looked up to me. "you can live with me, you can work at my company or even find a better job" i said as he smiled

"y/n i couldn't" he said, "why" i pouted, "i can't stay in your house" he said, "it's okay landon, i just want u to be safe and come home with me" i told him as he smiled

he stayed quiet for a bit as he sighed, "okay" he said as i squealed, "but i'll leave next week, i need to pack all my clothes" he said as i jumped up and down

"yay" i said as he smiled pulling me into a hug, i was so happy i forgot all about joey, i'll pick up my stuff tomorrow and leave in the night

i never brought a lot of stuff to NY so it'll be easy to take them back. it'll be hard to leave joey but i'll forget him, and i'll be happy
