Brittany is a 27-year old reader and writer from Australia. She loves sleep, cats and blogging. By day she works as a graphic designer while attempting to nab a university degree - by night she tries her best to get some of the swirling plot ideas down on paper. Procrastination often interferes with her writing time, but fingers-crossed she'll finish a book someday.

MISSELTHWAITE is an idea I've had rattling around in my head for a long, long time. THE SECRET GARDEN is one of my favourite stories (and movies) of all time, and I am so excited (and nervous!) to share it with all of you. What you read here is my first draft (a bit polished) so please be gentle!

My favourite authors include; Libba Bray, Maggie Stiefvater, Rachel Caine, Sarah J Maas, Julie Kagawa & Stephanie Perkins. I like to read historical fantasy, YA contemporary and very specific re-tellings. My two great passions for stories include Peter Pan and The Secret Garden. I also have a soft spot for anything Imperial Russia - particularly the last Romanovs.
