At last, Durin’s Day has come.

“Let all those who doubted us... Rue this day!”

Thorin roared as Balin watched the Dwarves tried to find the keyhole, tapping here and there. “We’re losing the light, come on.”

“Be quiet! I can’t hear when you’re thumping.”

Bilbo watched impatiently as the sun was beginning to set.

“I can’t find it.”

“It’s not here!”

“Break it down!”

The sun was setting.

“What did we miss?!”

He gazed up at the moon.

“The last light! The key hole!” He cheered, now trying to get the attention of the Dwarves. “Come back, come back!” he keeps on shouting. “It’s the light of the moon! The last moon of autumn!” he laughs, then searches for the key. However, it was missing.

Slowly, Thorin inserted the key. As if witnessing a miracle, he turned it.

The door opened, revealing the most familiar of halls—the halls of Erebor.
