"What happened to your arm" I asked
"What do mean" Remi asked pulling her sleeve down quickly
I just raised my eyebrow
"Come on Remi I just saw, your arm was all beat up" I said
"No it wasn't" Remi said
"Remi, don't lie to me" I said
"What happened?" I asked

Remi POV (Tuesday, four days before Blyke returns )
I was walking though the halls, when I got a text from Isen

Isen🖊️: Ember killed another vigilante two towns from here last night
Me: Okay thanks
Isen🖊️: don't do anything reckless
Me: I won't

So Ember was seen two towns away. Okay I'll go check it out just some reconicence in and out John and Isen won't be mad about that right
Time skip to that night
I put on my hero costume and repelled down a fire escape. My costume consisted on a black hoodie with an X duct taped to my chest, a face mask with a squiggly line for a mouth draw on the front, and a red beanie.
I landed on the ground and walked around trying to find people to get information from, so far I had nothing.
After about ten minutes of searching, I heard muffled voices from an alleyway a block away from where I was standing
I climbed another fire escape and watched the alleyway from a rooftop
A man with green hair, a man with purple hair and a woman in a long trench coat hat and face mask stood talking
"Just pay up dude" the purple haired man said
"I got nothing on me" the green haired man replied
"Shame" the woman said walking over to the green haired man
The woman's hands lit up with flaming claws.
Vigilante X-Static found with claw and burns marks all over the body
Ember
"W-W-Wait Volcan stop, please" the green haired man pleaded
Ember stabbed the green haired man in stomach, he fell to his knees before Ember pulled her claw out of his stomach. The green haired man bled out on the pavement.
Ember walked over to the purple haired man and handed him a syringe. The purple haired man injected the syringe into his arm.
"Good doing business with you again" Volcan said
"Yeah, we should do this more" the purple haired man said
"The last time was what, taking down that stupid lightning hero, X-Static" Volcan said
They killed Rei, the two people bellow me, killed Rei.
I jumped down into the alleyway behind the pair of adults.
"Who are you" The purple haired man asked
"I'll leave this one to you Chrome" Volcan said walking out of the alleyway
"I'll meet you at the place" The purple haired man (Chrome) said
Volcan nodded before walking off
