Chapter 16

Fiona's POV

Shawn drove me to Taco Bell cause no one else wanted to go. I don't know why cause I'm pretty sure they all like Taco Bell but.

And guess what song was playing on the radio. Amnesia. Holy shit I love that song. And we can all agree that 5 Seconds of Summer is gorgeous so.

I drove by all the places we used to hang out getting wasted
I thought about our last kiss, how it felt the way you tasted
And even though your friends tell me you're doing fine

Are you somewhere feeling lonely even though he's right beside you?
When he says those words that hurt you, do you read the ones I wrote you?

Sometimes I start to wonder, was it just a lie?
If what we had was real, how could you be fine?

The pictures that you sent me they're still living in my phone
I'll admit I like to see them, I'll admit I feel alone
And all my friends keep asking why I'm not around

It hurts to know you're happy, yeah, it hurts that you've moved on

It's like we never happened, was it just a lie?
If what we had was real, how could you be fine?

This song just describes me in some way. Like seriously. 

Shawn pulled into the parking lot. "Thank God I was starving you take so long to drive." I said. "Yeah well I don't have the guts to get in an accident." he said. I rolled my eyes. 

The girl behind the counter glared at me. She had way too much makeup on in my opinion. "Welcome to Taco Bell can I take your order?" she asked,

Before Shawn could say anything, I replied, "Yes you can take our orders but the question is may I take your order. Use English next time." That made her glare at me even longer. I waited for Shawn to order. "Ladies first," he said. "I'll have the Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco with a Baja Blast." I smiled thinking of Brent Rivera. "And you babe?" the cashier asked Shawn. "I'll have the same as her."  he replied. "That'll be $7.54." 

I was about to take out my wallet but Shawn beat me to it. He handed the cashier a $10 bill. The cashier wrote something on the receipt and then handed it to Shawn. "Call me babe." she winked at him. "I have a girlfriend." he said and put his arm around me. I was trying to contain my smile.

The girl paled. She gave us our food and we went to a table. After finishing eating, we went back to the car. 

Shawn started driving to a park near Taylor's house. When we got there I asked, "Why are we here?" "I thought we could talk." He said. 

We started talking about little things, and then he started asking more serious questions. And then he said, "I have to talk to you about something."

"What happened?" I asked, worried. "You know how you haven't seen Lauren for a couple of hours?" "Yes." I replied. "We broke up." 'YOU DID?! I-I mean you did? Oh I'm sorry. Why did you guys break up?" I asked. "Because I like someone else." I knew who he was talking about. 

I leaned in, and so did Shawn. We were both so close I could feel his hot breath on my neck. And then his lips touched mine. I slid my arms around his neck and he held onto my waist. 

Damn this boy is a good kisser. And so it went, 5 minutes of me and Shawn kissing. No, it wasn't a makeout session. I haven't had one of those in months.

He pulled away. I gasped for breath. 'You're a good kisser." he smirked. "I could say the same for you, loser."

"Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" I started fake fangirling.

"OMG THE SHAWN MENDES JUST ASKED ME ON A DATE OMG OMG!" 

"I'll take that as a yes." he smiled.

Just then it started raining. We ran to the car. Of course, Shawn beat me cause I am the slowest runner ever. Even slower than Alexa but I'm not quite sure of that.

I replied the events that happened at the park in my mind the whole car ride.

When we got to Taylor's house, everyone was there.

"DID SHE SAY YES?!?!?!?!?" They all shouted in unison. I was confused. 

"They knew about it?" I asked Shawn. He nodded.

"Awww that's adorable babe." I pecked his lips. Everyone started cheering.

"Want to do a YouNow announcing us dating?" Shawn asked me. "Sure babe just let me change."

A/N- Woohoo!!! I finally updated! Thank you guys for 956 reads and 37 votes! And this is like my favorite chapter cause of the dating part. It's 1139 words! GOALS!!! I'm gonna update more often hopefully. In the meantime, read my other story. <3
