"Just be straight with me" Mina said, Steven didn't say anything and was just thinking about what to say. Mina waited and she didn't mind because she would do anything to help him right now, Steven looked up at Mina and she could see he wanted to tell her. "It's okay. Just say it" Mina reassured "I-I think since all of this started things have been different between me and you. We are always arguing and I just scared of losing you again" Steven started "And you know that one of the fears of this whole thing is hurting you and I can't stand to even think about doing that. I try to keep you safe and to not get you hurt from all of this and in the process I'm just pushing you away and I know that I'm hurting you, and I know that's wrong but I can't risk getting you hurt" Steven explained "I know, and I get that. I did that too, I pushed you away and I left to Michigan to try and start over but when I realized how hurt you were. I came back her and I can back to you because I couldn't stand it. So that's okay" Mina explained "I-I know that but just the thought of losing you or you getting hurt because I couldn't protect you! It just-" Steven said sadly "It just scares me" Steven finished softly *Hugs Steven* "You're never going to lose me" Mina whispered. Steven hugged Mina back and he hugged her tight. "I think I just need time, just to spend with you and take a breather. I just want to hold you and talk to you, and be stress free. Because we may have a good day but I still know that there will be a nightmare around the corner" Steven explained "We can take today, tomorrow, and any day to do that. Because the choices that we choose don't make us who we are, we make them" Mina reassured

Mina and Steven talked over everything they could do and it felt great to have an actual peaceful conversation for once. Mina and Steven haven't had a nice day since all of this started and to have an actual peaceful day, felt good. "But other than that, it's pretty much it" Steven finished "Huh? That sounds like.. Amazing" Mina replied with a sparkle in her eye. Steven saw how excited she was and he chuckled "What?" Mina giggled "Nothing, just.. You had a sparkle in your eye on how you said that. It was just cute" Steven replied "Hm" Mina giggled kissing him lightly. Min and Steven talked some more and some how they ended up bursting out in laughter about something. "AH!" Mina yelled falling off the chairs still laughing "Are you- Are you okay?" Steven laughed "I'm fine" Mina replied. 

A few hours later

"Mm" Mina whined waking up "Shh, close your eyes baby. Go back to sleep" Steven whispered "Why aren't you asleep?" Mina asked "I can't, so I'm just holding you til I do" Steven replied "But I don't want you to be exhausted tomorrow" Mina whined "I'll be fine" Steven reassured "Go back to sleep" Steven whispered scotching down and spooning Mina "Shh. Close your eyes baby" Steven played with Mina's hair til she fell asleep. "I love you" Steven whispered falling asleep "Always"
