"Bye Jane," Madison spoke as he dragged his and John's suitcases out of the house; John was sitting on the porch, eating an apple.

"Oh you don't get away that easy sweetheart, come here," she said and pulled him in for a hug before he smiled and walked towards the car.

"Bye Jane," Laurens spoke as he finished his apple and was the one to hug first that time.

"Bye honey," she responded and patted him on the shoulder before he ran over to his boyfriend.

"Jane, it has been a pleasure, thank you for everything," Burr said as he walked over to her and stretched out his hand.

"Oh, don't mention it, you're not getting away either, come here," Jane replied as she pulled him in for a hug. As she pulled away, she kissed him lightly on the cheek and gave him a smile.

Burr felt loved again.

He took his bags to the car.

"Jane, always a pleasure," Alexander spoke as he smiled and pulled her in for a hug.

"You know I'm always here," she responded while smiling her brightest.

Mulligan was next in line, he didn't even say anything, just pulled her in for a hug and buried his face in her shoulder.

"Thank you," he said in a whisper, muffled by Jane's jacket.

"Call me anytime honey," she said as he pulled away. He smiled and walked down the stairs to join the rest of his friends at the car.

Thomas and Lafayette were the last ones out, they didn't have any bags of course.

"Well, I'm right," Lafayette said as they walked out the door.

"It's an opinion you can't be right on an opinion," his brother responded.

"How stupid are you?"

"I'm not stupid, I'm right."

"You just said..."

"I didn't mean it."

"You sure?"

"Yes, because pizza isn't good without pineapple."

Lafayette shook his head.

"Pineapple and pizza were not invented for being together, it's unnatural."

Jefferson scoffed at the comment.

"So is chicken and chocolate."

"Chicken and chocolate are brilliant, you've never even tried it."

"You've never even tried pineapple pizza."

"That's irrelevant."

"That is extremely relevant."

Jane sighed and shook her head.

"You can fight about it in the car, now come here before I fall asleep standing."

She pulled the two into a hug.

"Love you, mom," they said in unison.

"Love you too," she responded.

She let go of them.

"Now get going so you can be back by midnight."

"We're going, we're going," Lafayette said as he laughed.

"Boys?"

"Hm?"

"I'm proud of you."

Jefferson and Lafayette couldn't help smiling at the comment.
